Borden Park
My very favourite playground in Edmonton – Borden Park. To me, Borden Park is a timeless classic in the most beautiful setting. I love the carved animals, the giant treehouse, the unique design and the fact that this playground is almost completely camouflaged. I love the public art, especially the beautiful “Vaulted Willow” by Artist Marc Fornes & THEVERYMANY. We always have a ton of fun at this playground.
Borden has a great toddler park (the animals), the treehouse big kid park, lots of extras (spinners, monkey bars, climbing ropes and more), swings (4 standard, 2 baby) and is based in wood chips. There’s a bathroom building in the green space and plenty of benches and picnic tables, including covered picnic shelters.
