Ball Lake Island Park
It’s the only island playground I can think of in the Edmonton area – this is Ball Lake Island in Sherwood Park. The girls have loved this park since they were little – it’s home to what we think is the world’s bounciest teeter-totter! We’re also big fans of the monkey bar circuit, the adult workout park (in a separate site) and the beauty of this lovely greenspace in general! Ball Lake playground also has slides, swings (2 standard and 2 baby) and is based in sand.
There are 2 bridges to access the island and both connect to the larger trail system. On the island itself are both paved and rock trails with plenty of benches and tables, making it an ideal spot for a picnic!
