Astotin Lake Playground
I can safely say this is the first bison bouncer we’ve encountered – and of course it’s in Elk Island! This is the outstanding Astotin Lake Playground in Elk Island National Park! It captured the girls attention for not one, but two lengthy visits during our time there.
The main structure is set up as a circuit that includes climbers,
challenging bridges, monkey bars, a slider and more! There are two big slides, a 4-person teeter totter and the bison bouncer. This playground has swings (3 big kid, 1 baby and 1 saucer), is based in wood chips and features a number of educational pictures and signs. We even found a perfect selection of balance-beam-and-hopping logs in the trees just beyond the park.
