Abbey Park
In our house this Sherwood Park spot has always been known as “Purple, Blue and Yellow Park”, but signage indicates it has a real name – Abbey Park. (or Abbey Road Park if you believe Google maps!)
My girls now love the wide variety of climbers, monkey bars and balance challenges, but I remember them as toddlers always spending most of their park time in the car because this one has some real moving dials and switches!
This playground features a very spinny spinner, a little car bouncer, and swings (2 baby, 2 standard). It’s based in sand and is surround by benches. It’s fenced from the road and located along a trail system, and just uphill from a storm water pond. and located just off the trail system and a storm water pond.
