Athlone Park
Bright yellow, green and blue – I feel cheerful when I look at Athlone Playground! The spray park is probably the star of the show here, with the bright yellow spraying daisy and the big frog-eye misting ring. There are ground sprayers too and a finger park set in the concrete.
The main playground is ramped and offers climbers, slides and monkey bars. There’s a toddler area with a smaller structure and spring-rider motorcycles (2 singles and 1 triple). Accessories here include a tall rope merry-go-round and swings (4 standard, 2 baby and 2 saucer). This playground is based in sand with a bit of rubber. There are benches and picnic tables on site.
