Rotary Playscape
The Rotary Playscape at the Spruce Grove Tri-Leisure Centre is a bit of a magical place! It’s bright and colourful, completely fenced and has rubber base throughout. The big kid area is vast, with all its structures set up around the centrepiece – the giant rope climber. It’s not the only rope feature – or the only climber! This playground is packed with options that will challenge even the most experienced climbers!
The toddler area is huge, with a treehouse, stage, musical area, spring-riders and more. The only swings on-site are two saucers in the back corner that seem to be perpetually occupied, but there is so much fun to be had, we didn’t even bother waiting for a swing!
The Playscape is one of the only fully-fenced playgrounds we know of. There is a single opening to get in and out. Aside the park is a hill with benches and picnic tables – perfect for parents to watch from! (It’s also a great spot for a picnic lunch!) There is a tiny single sprayer too, just outside the playground’s main gate and bathrooms can be accessed in the Tri-Leisure Centre.
