***2025 UPDATE: The refurbishment project at Okeskiw Playground is complete. The playground is now home to a dirt pump track! There are also new additions to the playground, including a toddler play area, sensory and music features, spring riders, spinners and a cool car. A large picnic shelter was also added to the grounds, making the playground a well-rounded community space!
Original review: It is, without a doubt, one of the most cheerful playgrounds around! The reds, oranges, yellows and bright greens of Oleskiw Playground in Wolf Willow Park stand out against their backdrop year-round. This playground offers some very unique play – our favourites are the giant climbing rock, the green pentagon rope climber and the thick tightrope for balance.
There is a smaller toddler park and a great big kid park (both have cute finger mazes and games!) as well as swings (2 baby swings and 4 standard swings), a tilted rope merry-go-round and 4 fun slides! The base is mainly wood chips, with rubber under the merry-go-round. There are benches and picnic tables here too!
