Chappelle Community Playground
Chappelle Community Playground at Donald R Getty School is a fabulous place for play – that just happens to be surrounded by a fabulous bike trail!
This entire playground is very special and unique! The toddler park is space-themed. There’s a rocky moon for climbing, a lunar rover, and even cutouts featuring an astronaut and an alien! Our favourite part is the spinning green wobble-bubble!
The big kid park is packed with fun, with big climbers and slides. There are monkey bars and sliders, balance beams and hopping discs and more. There’s a small dome climber, a unique rope “hanging” climber, and swings. (4 standard and one raft swing). The hard-packed bike trail surrounds the playground, and there are benches and picnic tables on site too. This playground is based in a combination of wood chips and rubber.
