Gold Bar Playground
It’s one of the biggest and best classic wooden playgrounds in Edmonton – Gold Bar Playground is a gem. We love the circular design of this huge park – built around mature trees! Aside from all the wooden park favourites, (slides, monkey bars, even a wooden running wheel) you’ll also find 2 friendly dinos and a cool cruiser that looks like something right out of the Flintstones!
Another unique feature is that the main wooden structure has a ramp that runs right through it, from sidewalk to sidewalk, which also offers access to a sand table. Bonus points for swings (4 standard, 2 baby); an asphalt trail perfect for skateboards, scooters and bikes; and a great little spray park! There are plenty of benches and a lovely gazebo too.
