St Albert Rotary Park
This cool cubic climber is the centrepiece of the tiny-but-awesome playground in St Albert Rotary Park. at the Riel Recreation Centre in St. Albert. The playground is set along the St Albert trail system and just a hop, skip and jump away from the John E Poole Wetlands, another of our favourite places to explore!
The climbing cube got most of our attention, but the rest of the playground is great too – featuring a toddler sized play structure, a saucer swing and an X-wave undulating balance beam. We also loved the beautiful public art installation, “Cone” by artist Tony Stallard. The park is based in wood chips, and we found a porta-potty not far away toward the sports fields.
