St Francis of Assisi School
This one is as much of a neighbourhood gathering space as it is a fun place to play! The very popular playground at St Francis of Assisi School is a ton of fun. It starts with the four big red slides. There are cool climbers of all kinds, plus a tall rope merry-go-round, a spider web for climbing, a couple of spinners, and a four-seat teeter-totter.
The kids at the school got to have a say in the equipment that would be included in their new park, and apparently they really wanted swings, as the old park didn’t have any – so swings were a late addition to the playground plan! There are 4 big kid swings and 1 saucer swing. This playground is based in rubber and has a few benches on site.
