Yorkson Community Park

Yorkson Community Park features one of the best new playgrounds in Langley BC – and the fun doesn’t stop there! This is an exceptional example of an incredible community space. Features here include:
- Massive inclusive playground with options for big kids, toddler and more
- Spray Park
- Pump Track
- Small-dog off leash park
- Large free parking lot
- Sports facilities – soccer/lacrosse/rugby fields, baseball diamonds
- Public Art (including the ‘heart hands’ sculpture known as “Heart in the Right Place” by artist Kyle Thornley of Metal Mind Forge.)
- Community garden
- Picnic tables and benches
- Bathrooms (under construction as of Feb 2026)

The hammock swing is an example of a feature we hadn’t encountered before in a playground. The slide built into the hill is another feature that is visually appealing but also constantly drew a crowd of kids. We also made a point to visit the unique public art structure – a perfect photo op!
