Banff Adventure and Nature Playground
It was long overdue, but well worth the wait! Banff’s Adventure and Nature Playground finally opened in Spring 2025 and it’s been a welcome addition to this mountain community!
The playground truly features something for everyone! There is a toddler area, tons of options for bigger kids, from massive slides, to bouncy, cable track ziplines to amazing climbers of all types. There are places to hide, places to run, places to challenge yourself – and of course, places for cute photo ops! If you’re exploring Banff with kids, this playground is a must-visit!
The playground is set in an ideal location, in the Banff recreation grounds. There are plenty of picnic tables, benches, and large trees for shade. Bathrooms are located on site. There is a pump track and the tennis courts and skate park are nearby too.
If you’re visiting from the main “business” part of Banff, and travelling by foot, cross the Nancy Pauw bridge to the southwest to easily access the playground area. The recreation ground does have a nearby parking lot too.
