Nestled just south of the city of Edmonton, roughly between Beaumont and Nisku, sits a gorgeous neighbourhood called Royal Oaks. It’s home to beautiful homes, lovely trails and now a great playground – Diamond Estates Park!
The new playground is a decent size, with a great main structure full of climbers and slides. My girls loves the monkey bar obstacle course that extends out from the main rig. There is an inclusive play area based in rubber with musical features, a hammock swing, a small globe spinner and a four-seat teeter-totter. Other accessories here include a merry-go-round, three spring-riders (an adorable dog, a vehicle and a large surf board) and a set of swings. (1 accessible and 3 standard swings.)
The playground is based in woodchips and is surrounded by a substantial green space. There are benches, picnic tables and a picnic shelter, but no trees for shade.
