I don’t know where to begin.

I’ve been wanting to visit Kraay Family Farm, home of the Lacombe Corn Maze, for the past few years. We finally had the chance to shortly after they opened for the Summer 2024 season and all I can say is that I was BLOWN AWAY.

Everywhere you turn on this massive fun farm you are greeted with another fun activity! There are games, physical challenges, farm classics, playgrounds and so much more!

Attractions

You can see a full list of the attractions HERE. I can try to narrow it down to our top 10 favourites – we loved: the jumping pillows, the tube slide, the ziplines, mutton busting (not what you think – it’s a human-powered mini-coaster!), the timberline adventure course (like a ninja course), the wall ball mazes, the misters (it was HOT when we visited), the duck races, the chalk-olate milk truck for chalk art, and all the critters!

The maze is a-maze-ing too! (pun intended). It’s one giant maze with 3 options built in – there is a mini kids maze, and two levels of challenge for the larger maze! We chose the middle level and had a lot of fun!

If you visit in the summer, as we did, you can take in all the farm fun and still stay cool thanks to on-site misters, shady spots and treats like lemonade slushies! If you visit later in the season you can look forward to things like the sunflower maze, hot mini donuts and plenty of activities to keep you warm!

My top tips for your visit to Kraay Family Farm:

Book your tickets online before you go to save money!!! Check admission prices HERE.
Most activities are included in your admission. There are a few extra-pay options like gemstone-mining, paintball-shooting, working construction toys, and pumpkin cannons. You can pay with a card or cash on site for these.
If you have kiddos who like to feed critters, bring along a pocket full of quarters. You can buy pellets to feed goats, pigs, peacocks, bunnies and other critters.
Closed-toed shoes are required for the Timberline Adventure course.
Don’t skip the Corn-er Store on your way out! There are so many cute treats and treasures!
