MUTTART CONSERVATORY FEATURE PYRAMIDS 2026
The feature pyramid at the Muttart Conservatory typically changes 6 or 7 times each year, with a break of up to a week between exhibits to allow the feature space to be changed. Some of our favourite feature pyramids from the past few years have included “Candycopia”, “Museum of the Moon” and “Santa’s Workshop”. We make a point to visit the Muttart at least once for every feature – and the holiday season isn’t complete without a visit to the Muttart Holiday Feature Pyramid!

PROGRAMS FOR KIDS
When my girls were preschoolers, we loved attending drop-in programs for kids in Edmonton – and the offerings at the Muttart Conservatory were among our favourites! The facility is currently offering “Mornings at Muttart” for kids aged 3 to 5 and “Imagination Station” for kids 5 and under. These programs are parented and facility admission rates apply.
Program Schedule: “Mornings at Muttart” is offered Monday through Friday, and “Imagination Station” (unfacilitated) will be offered daily! Program schedules can change, and we always recommend you double-check the Muttart schedule HERE.
CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE
We love visiting on our own and choosing our own adventure at the Muttart! Be sure to check inside the doors of each pyramid – there are often paper copies of great activities for kids. We’ve enjoyed Plant Scavenger Hunts, Edible Plant Bingo, and more! Don’t snooze on a visit to the Muttart Conservatory in the evening. The conservatory is open late for visitors of all ages on Thursdays and there are often guided tours available during these evenings. We’ve learned so many things from tours and chats with Muttart staff members over the years!

We’ve purchased Muttart Conservatory memberships since the girls were little. We love visiting frequently but our visits are never too long, so it’s great to have the freedom and flexibility to just pop in here and there.
