Fountain Park Playground

A welcome addition to St. Albert – the inclusive playground at Fountain Park Recreation Centre offers a lot of fun in a bright and colourful package! This playground features rubber base throughout, and a ramped main structure. There is a towering central feature with 3 green slides, including one twisty one. This feature also includes a rope climber for access, plus hanging arm sliders and a couple of monkey bar options.

This playground includes a communication board, a braille board, and a number of finger games. The sensory seat offers features like a flap, mirror, spinning shapes and sliding shapes, in a partially-enclosed cove.

There are tons of accessory features at this playground, including a playhouse, a four-seat teeter-totter, spinners, and a great musical area. This playground has swings – 2 standard, 2 baby and 1 accessible. It’s set behind the Fountain Park building, and offers a couple of benches and tables. There’s also a nice trail into the trees, with a great hill for sledding in winter!
