This year, the amazing Ginny Yurich, who launched the 1000 Hours Outside movement, has launched the 1000 Hours Outside Book Club! I’m inviting you to join my version of the 1000 Hours Outside Book Club with Edmonton Playgrounds!

Ginny’s suggestion is to find a small group in which to participate, for purposes of accountability and an effort to be social. She is also going to effort to do a 45 minute online call with that month’s author near the end of the last month! You can read more about the official book club HERE.

I invite you to join me for a very casual version of the book club! Near the start of each month I will set a date, time and playground for the meet-up. Everyone is welcome, but please know that this will be the most casual book club ever. It is really more of an opportunity to connect with other outdoor-loving playground fanatics! 🙂 (and make me accountable to my goal of reading these 12 books!) If you are looking for a more serious book club, I invite you to start your own, and I’d be happy to share your details on the @EdmontonPlaygrounds Instagram account to help you reach other potential participants.
